West Ham United F.C. is an English football club that was founded in
1895, under the name Thames Ironworks F.C. It has enjoyed a moderately successful history and is known for cultivating young
talents, such as Rio Ferdinand, Frank Lampard and Joe Cole, just to name a few.
West Ham is currently without a captain,
and is currently managed by Gianfranco Zola and assistant Steve Clarke. They take part in the Barclays Premier League, and
have so for all but three seasons since its conception, the latest stretch running from the start of the 2005-06 season.
